| how to link to a defnition (or just part of a site) | May I suggest making your definitions into graphics and then creating a page that will hold all your definition graphics. I call my pages like this a Paint Bucket or Container Page. Upload your graphics to the container page and save the page into as Uncatergorized page. Then you can copy the url for each definition graphic (right-clicking on graphic and selecting properties will give you the URL for that graphic). Now create a link to the word or phrase you want to define using the graphic url. The graphic will open in a new window. Use the above replies on how to make your text into graphics. Now to get to your Container page, go to Updates - Pages- and select Uncategorized and you will see the container page listed there. I use this method for definitions and also for enlarging photos from a smaller thumbnail on page. For examples and instructions you can visit my wiki and look at what I call Paint Buckets http://splats.wetpaint.com/page/Paint+Bucket |
